Ayo Keys is a writer and designer based in New York City and who, in 2016, won the LVMH Graduates Prize.

She completed her BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons The New School for Design with a minor in Journalism and Design at Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts. There she produced her graduate collection, featuring six women's wear looks inspired by a childhood love of science fiction movies and the ability to manipulate fabrics with light.

She has always been inspired by the irreverent, emotional, eclectic, coherent, rebellious and transformative power of stories and clothing. She feels that every piece of clothing has the power to create a miraculous narrative for the wearer and that every piece of writing is simply clothing worn in the mind and over time becomes apart of the body.

Her dedication to craft, detail, and instilling elegance and eccentricity into her work is what sets both her writing and design work apart from those of her peers. She is constantly working to push her skills and her work to the next level.

Ayo recently completed a one year design traineeship with the women's ready to wear collection team at Marc Jacobs in New York as part of the LVMH Prize.
